Preparation:
1. Preparing the wings
- Pat the chicken wings dry and place them in a large bowl.
- Mix together baking powder, salt, paprika, garlic powder and pepper.
- Pour the spice mix and oil over the wings and mix well.
2. Cook the wings until crispy (oven or grill)
In the oven:
- Turn the oven on 220°C fan-assisted oven preheat.
- Place the wings on a wire rack lined with baking paper (not directly on the baking sheet – this will make them extra crispy).
- Bake for approximately 45 minutes., turning halfway through the time.
On the grill:
- The grill is on 180-200°C indirect heat preheat.
- Place the wings on the grill and cook with the lid closed for approximately... Grill for 35-40 minutes, until they are crispy brown.
3. Prepare the Buffalo sauce
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
- Stir in hot chili sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey and cayenne pepper.
- Simmer briefly, then remove from the heat.
4. Combine wings and sauce
- Place the cooked wings in a large bowl.
- Pour the hot Buffalo sauce over the wings and mix well until all wings are coated.
5. Serve & Enjoy
