Ultimate USA Chicken Wings – Crispy, Juicy & Full of Flavor

The best chicken wings The USA? Absolutely: Buffalo Wings! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and topped with a legendary, addictive sauce. This recipe is an absolute game-changer for your next BBQ or Super Bowl event.

Recipe: Original Buffalo Chicken Wings

Serves 4 people:

1 kg Chicken Wings
1 tsp baking powder (for crispiness)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp paprika powder (noble sweet)
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp vegetable oil

Buffalo sauce:
100 g butter
150 ml hot chili sauce (e.g. Frank's RedHot)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

Dazu:
Blue Cheese Dip (Blue Cheese Dressing)
Celery sticks & carrot sticks

Preparation:

1. Preparing the wings

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Mix together baking powder, salt, paprika, garlic powder and pepper.
  3. Pour the spice mix and oil over the wings and mix well.

2. Cook the wings until crispy (oven or grill)

In the oven:

  1. Turn the oven on 220°C fan-assisted oven preheat.
  2. Place the wings on a wire rack lined with baking paper (not directly on the baking sheet – this will make them extra crispy).
  3. Bake for approximately 45 minutes., turning halfway through the time.

On the grill:

  1. The grill is on 180-200°C indirect heat preheat.
  2. Place the wings on the grill and cook with the lid closed for approximately... Grill for 35-40 minutes, until they are crispy brown.

3. Prepare the Buffalo sauce

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Stir in hot chili sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey and cayenne pepper.
  3. Simmer briefly, then remove from the heat.

4. Combine wings and sauce

  1. Place the cooked wings in a large bowl.
  2. Pour the hot Buffalo sauce over the wings and mix well until all wings are coated.

5. Serve & Enjoy

Low & Slow methodMeat is cooked for many hours at a low temperature gently smoked, which keeps it incredibly juicy and gives it an intense smoky flavor. Hickory, mesquite or pecan – Each type of wood gives the meat an individual touch and ensures a distinctive aroma.

But it's not just the smoking itself that's crucial – the proper meat quality plays a key role. A well-marbled brisket from the USA or authentic St. Louis Cut Ribs The perfect ratio of meat to fat forms the basis for a true BBQ masterpiece.

Texas Style Brisket – The pinnacle of BBQ

Brisket is the ultimate BBQ classic and requires patience – but the result is incomparable.

Recipe: Texas Style Brisket Ingredients:

  • 5 kg Brisket (beef brisket)

  • 5 tablespoons coarse salt

  • 4 tablespoons black pepper

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 200 ml beef broth

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Preparation:

  1. Remove excess fat from the brisket and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

  2. Preheat the smoker to 115°C and place the brisket with the fat side facing up.

  3. Smoke for 6 hours, then wrap in aluminum foil and cook for another 5 hours until a core temperature of approximately 95°C is reached.

  4. Let it rest for at least 1 hour, then slice into thin slices.

  5. Serve with homemade BBQ sauce.
